Note: Actual pricing is confirmed by your Hero after an on-site inspection. A $89 ($125 for Emergency bookings) booking hold may be placed to secure your appointment. It is a temporary authorization, not a completed charge. Your booking hold amount is deducted from your main bill. If work proceeds, the amount you approve is collected from an eligible existing authorization. If a new authorization is needed, it is captured before we attempt to release the earlier hold. Cancellation terms may apply.

HALOFIX does not require a Florida DBPR license for appliance repair alone. Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or refrigerator/freezer sealed-system refrigerant work is assigned only to Heroes with the appropriate DBPR license or EPA Section 608 certification. Every appliance Hero application is reviewed before approval. General liability insurance is optional for appliance repair; a Hero who carries it must meet the platform minimum.
General rule: if the repair costs more than 50% of replacement cost and the appliance is over 8 years old, replacement may be more cost-effective. Heroes provide honest assessments before any work begins.
