Fixing Florida, One Home at a Time
HALOFIX USA was founded by Heroes and engineers who experienced the same broken system Residents hate — unlicensed workers, surprise bills, and no accountability. We built the technology dispatch platform we wished existed.
Our Mission
We exist to make home services in Florida safer, faster, and more affordable for every Resident - while building sustainable income opportunities for skilled, reviewed tradespeople.
Florida Residents deserve to know that the person in their home is reviewed, accountable, and supported by insurance evidence and required credential review where applicable. That standard shouldn't be a luxury - it should be the floor.
What We Stand For
Trust Through Transparency
Every Hero is reviewed, and insurance evidence is reviewed where applicable. We show available credentials - you decide who enters your home.
Speed Without Compromise
Target Hero dispatch confirmation within 2 hours where coverage is available; actual arrival time varies by service area, demand, traffic, and Hero availability. Routine bookings are scheduled by availability. SMS updates at every step so you know when help arrives.
Payment Protection
You review and approve the final bill before any additional charge.
Following the Rules
HALOFIX USA works to follow applicable laws.
Our 5-Step Hero Review
Applicants complete a documented review of required credentials, insurance evidence, and business information.
License/Credential Verification
For DBPR-licensed trades, lookup checks the Florida DBPR database. Expired, suspended, or inactive required licenses are rejected.
Insurance Review
General liability insurance certificates are reviewed where the trade requires them, and expiry is tracked. If coverage lapses, the Hero stops receiving new job offers until a current certificate is on file.
Optional Hero-Provided Report
HALOFIX does not order background checks. A Hero may voluntarily provide a report they already hold; it is not required for approval.
Owner Approval
Final approval is a separate decision by HALOFIX's owner. A Hero cannot take jobs before it.
Ongoing Monitoring
License and insurance status checked daily. The Hero is alerted before a lapse, and a lapsed credential pauses new job offers until it is current again. HALOFIX does not require a Florida DBPR license for appliance repair alone. That trade is not held to the license part of this check.
