Florida Residents deserve to know that the person in their home is reviewed, accountable, and supported by insurance evidence and required credential review where applicable. That standard shouldn't be a luxury - it should be the floor.

Trust Through Transparency
Every Hero is reviewed, and insurance evidence is reviewed where applicable. We show available credentials - you decide who enters your home.
Speed Without Compromise
Emergency dispatch target within 2 hours where Hero coverage is available — actual arrival varies by service area and demand. Routine bookings are scheduled by availability. SMS updates at every step so you know when help arrives.
Payment Protection
Funds are held on hold until you confirm the work is done right. No payment leaves until you say so.
Full Legal Compliance
We operate under Florida consumer protection law, FCRA, RESPA, and 300+ applicable regulations — so you never have to worry.
Our 5-Step Hero Vetting
Applicants complete a documented review of required credentials, insurance evidence, and business information.
License/Credential Verification
For DBPR-licensed trades, lookup checks the Florida DBPR database. Expired, suspended, or inactive required licenses are rejected.
Insurance Review
General liability and workers' compensation certificates are reviewed and expiry-tracked. If coverage lapses, the Hero stops receiving new job offers until a current certificate is on file.
Optional Hero-Provided Report
HALOFIX does not order background checks. A Hero may voluntarily provide a report they already hold; it is not required for approval.
Skills Assessment
Service-specific competency review by our Hero relations team, including portfolio and reference checks.
Ongoing Monitoring
License and insurance status checked daily. The Hero is alerted before a lapse, and a lapsed credential pauses new job offers until it is current again. Appliance repair has no DBPR license category, so that trade is not held to the license part of this check.
