The ranges below are general guide ranges chosen by HALOFIX, not quotes. When you book, your Hero gives you an on-site quote before any work begins — and you approve it first.

What is the $89 ($125 for Emergency bookings) booking hold?
A $89 ($125 for Emergency bookings) booking hold may be placed to secure your appointment. It is a temporary authorization, not a completed charge. Your booking hold amount is deducted from your main bill. If work proceeds, the amount you approve is collected from an eligible existing authorization. If a new authorization is needed, it is captured before we attempt to release the earlier hold. Cancellation terms may apply.
How does the hold work with my bill?
A $89 ($125 for Emergency bookings) booking hold may be placed to secure your appointment. It is a temporary authorization, not a completed charge. Your booking hold amount is deducted from your main bill. If work proceeds, the amount you approve is collected from an eligible existing authorization. If a new authorization is needed, it is captured before we attempt to release the earlier hold. Cancellation terms may apply. Your Hero confirms the inspection/diagnostic fee for your service before the visit; all payments are processed securely through HALOFIX USA (never paid off-platform).
$89 ($125 for Emergency bookings) booking hold waived on all bookings with Resident Plus. Your card is saved but not held. A late cancellation or a visit nobody answers is charged to that saved card instead of a hold.

How Our Heroes Get Paid
The commission comes from the Hero's side of the bill — not yours.

Commission is charged in milestone bands on the Hero's labor only. Each rate applies only to the labor inside its band. Parts and materials are never commissioned and processing fees are separate.

Emergency Pricing Protection
During a declared state of emergency in Florida, HALOFIX USA reviews emergency invoices against the applicable reference price. If a submitted invoice is well above it, HALOFIX USA warns the Hero at billing and flags the bill for review. The review is a trigger, not a price cap, and documented cost increases may be considered.
Published industry emergency rates run 1.5x – 2.2x the normal rate. HALOFIX does not set prices; your Hero sets the final price.
