How the HALOFIX USA Partner Program handles referrals tied to a real estate settlement - and what that means for your commission.
What Is a Restricted Referral?
HALOFIX USA pays no Partner commission on a booking in a service category it has marked as tied to a real estate settlement, such as work often connected to a home sale or a mortgage refinance. Those categories are set in advance by HALOFIX USA; they are not decided booking by booking.

Our Partner Program sets the commission to $0 for bookings in those categories.
How HALOFIX USA Enforces These Rules
Restricted referrals = $0 commission
HALOFIX designates specific service categories as restricted in advance. When a Resident books through your referral link for a service in one of those categories, the commission for that job is automatically set to $0. The job still completes and the Resident is served, but no commission is paid to you for it.
This enforcement is automatic at the platform level. You do not need to manually identify restricted referrals; each service category is pre-designated as restricted or not, and HALOFIX applies that designation automatically.
Restricted vs Not Restricted
Restricted ($0 commission)
- A booking for a service category HALOFIX has marked as tied to a real estate settlement, whoever referred it
- The category is set in advance by HALOFIX, not chosen booking by booking
Not Restricted (full commission)
- A booking for any other service category: commission follows your tier
- HALOFIX does not look at who you are or how you share your link when it sets this
