Legal and terminology disclosures
HALOFIX USA LLC is an automated direct-dispatch home services platform. Heroes operate as independent contractors. HALOFIX reviews required licenses or credentials where applicable, and insurance documentation. HALOFIX does not perform home services directly, does not employ Heroes, and does not guarantee specific job outcomes. Verification badges reflect documentation reviewed at the time of onboarding. Emergency pricing is reviewed under HALOFIX policy during declared states of emergency.
Terminology: “Resident” means the person who books a service for a property (the owner, or someone with the owner’s permission). “Hero” means the independent service professional who does the work; Heroes are independent contractors, not HALOFIX employees. “Partner” means a member of the HALOFIX referral program.
